So, there is huge difference between the two phases of bipolar disorder. In one phase the patient is feeling joy while in the other phase, he or she has feelings of suicide. Bipolar disorder usually happens with older teens, however in few cases it can occur in 6 years old children as well. However, it is very difficult to diagnose the signs and symptoms of bipolar depression. Without diagnosing, it is very difficult to help the patient. So, it is very important to diagnose the bipolar disorder in a proper way. So, if your teen has swings mood, then you should not ignore it, because it may prove to be a serious problem in the later stage.
